I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics at Rice University and a Graduate Fellow at the Baker Institute for Public Policy Center for Energy Studies.
My research examines the economics of the energy transition in electricity markets, with a focus on power plant retirement decisions, investment behavior, and market design in ERCOT. As a Graduate Fellow at the Baker Institute's Center for Energy Studies, I contribute applied policy research on grid reliability, resource adequacy, incentive structures, and the economic implications of the energy transition.
